Roxanna’s legal career began with one of the nation’s leading securities litigation firms, where she handled complex cases involving class actions, SEC matters, and both state and federal proceedings. Her work involved meticulous client preparation, case evaluation, and portfolio monitoring. She honed her skills in case strategy and client advocacy, which she later applied to workers' compensation defense at one of California’s oldest workers’ compensation firms.
Transitioning to personal injury law, Roxanna gained significant experience representing individuals in high-stakes litigation matters. She is deeply committed to helping victims of trauma, drawing on her previous experience advocating for survivors of sexual abuse and child abuse in high-profile cases like the Boy Scouts of America bankruptcy litigation and Catholic clergy sexual abuse cases.
Roxanna’s approach to personal injury law is informed by her background in trauma-informed representation. Roxanna earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. During law school, she earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, one of the top-ranked dispute resolution programs in the country. Roxanna also participated in Pepperdine’s Community Justice Clinic, where she served as general counsel for nonprofit organizations, advocating for social justice and the economic empowerment of vulnerable communities.
Prior to law school, Roxanna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
